Tekashi 6ix9ine ID's Cardi B As Bloods Member

Tekashi 6ix9ine ID's Cardi B As Bloods Member

Apparently Dipset OG Jim Jones wasn’t the only person Tekashi 6ix9ine identified as a gang member during Anthony “Harv” Ellison and Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack’s trial.

Page Six reports at Thursday’s (September 19) hearing, the controversial rapper also named Cardi B as a member of the Bloods. Complex obtained a court transcript that showed Page Six misidentified 6ix9ine’s claim, which incorrectly identified Cardi as belonging to the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.

Under cross-examination, 6ix9ine confirmed the “Bodak Yellow” superstar was a Bloods member but denied he followed in her footsteps by having fellow members appear in his videos.

“I knew who she was. I didn’t pay attention,” he reportedly told the court.

In a 2018 interview with GQ, Cardi admitted she had ties to the Bloods and Brims but discouraged young girls from ever walking down that path.

“When I was 16 years old, I used to hang out with a lot of Bloods,” she said. “I used to pop off with my homies. And they’d say, ‘Yo, you really get it poppin’. You should come home. You should turn Blood.’ And I did. Yes, I did.

“People always be like, ‘Oh, Cardi never used to rep it when she wasn’t making music.’ Yeah, because I already got signed. I can do that now. I’m smarter than what people think. There’s so many things that I limited myself because I wanted a million-dollar contract. When I do interviews, I don’t talk about it, because I will lose my endorsements. But since the cat is out of the bag, that’s how I feel. Why? For what? Why would you join a gang?”

6ix9ine was originally facing a mandatory 47-year prison sentence in his racketeering case but as the government’s star witness in the Ellison and Mack trial, he could receive time served and be out early next year.

Kanye West Beats JAY-Z, Drake & Eminem On Forbes' 2019 Highest-Paid Hip-Hop Acts

Kanye West reigns supreme in the rap world according to Forbes as he was named the highest-paid Hip Hop act in 2019. Mr. West beat out frenemies JAY-Z and Drake, who entered in at the second and third spots, respectively.

Most of the Chi-town native’s income comes from his shoe company, Yeezy, which is expected to exceed over $1.5 billion by the end of 2019. The company helped raise pretax profit to $150 million over the past year, which gave him the number one spot on the list for the first time.

“There was a beam of light on the idea of me making athletic footwear,” West stated in an interview with Forbes.

The 21-time Grammy Award winner continued, “A paradigm shift. Like the Yeezy is desired as much as a Jordan.” Yeezy pulled in about half the revenue of the Nike Air Jordan line that originated in 1985.

Elsewhere on the list Diddy comes in at No. 4 with $70 million, Nicki Minaj appears at No. 12 with $29 million and Nas shows up at the 18th spot with $19 million.

Wiz Khalifa Sued For Allegedly Stealing "Most Of Us" Concept

A Georgia rapper is suing Wiz Khalifa, alleging the Taylor Gang boss stole the concept for “Most Of Us” off the 2016 album Khalifa.
In court documents obtained by TMZ, Cymple Man claims to have met Khalifa in 2012 at the airport in Salt Lake City, Utah. Cymple expressed his desire to collaborated and gave Khalifa a copy of a song called “Most Of Us,” which was released in 2007.

Years later, after never receiving any contact from Khalifa, Cymple heard the weed connoisseur’s own song titled “Most Of Us” and believed he was the victim of some biting. The lawsuit claims Khalifa’s track “unmistakably copies the essential elements” of Cymple’s version of “Most Of Us.”
Both songs do contain a similar structure with each line of the verses starting with “most of us.” That’s where the common elements end though with no other noticeable similarities.

Cymple is suing for damages and seeks to stop Khalifa from using “Most Of Us” ever again. Khalifa’s version currently has 30 million views on YouTube.
