XXTENTACION Sent To Jail After Being Hit With 7 New Felonies

Miami, FL – XXXTENTACION was sent to jail Friday morning (December 15) after prosecutors hit him with seven new charges in relation to his 2016 domestic violence case, according to TMZ.
The new counts, which are all felonies, reportedly include different degrees of witness tampering and witness harassment.
As reported earlier this month, X’s legal team submitted a document claiming his ex-girlfriend – who he allegedly assaulted when she was pregnant with his child last year – no longer wanted him to be prosecuted. But those overseeing the case told the judge they didn’t believe the statement was legitimate, thus leading prosecutors to pursue charges of witness tampering and witness harassment, which  — out of all of his charges — carry the stiffest legal penalties.
At a hearing in Miami-Dade County on Friday morning, the judge told X he’d violated his bond from his initial arrest and the 17 rapper was sent straight to jail. He’s reportedly being held without bail.
X is facing a bevy of charges, including aggravated battery of a pregnant woman, domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment, and witness tampering. If convicted, he faces decades in prison.

George Zimmerman Threatens To "Beat JAY-Z" Over Trayvon Martin Doc

JAY-Z and The Weinstein Company announced a six-part docuseries Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story in March. Based on attorney Lisa Bloom’s book Suspicion Nation: The Inside Story of the Trayvon Martin Injustice and Why We Continue to Repeat It, it chronicles Trayvon Martin’s brief life, his shooting death at the hands of George Zimmerman and Zimmerman’s subsequent acquittal.
When Zimmerman learned the production team working on the docuseries attempted to interview his family, he threatened to “beat JAY-Z” and feed anyone who “fucks” with his parents to “an alligator,” according to The Blast.
It all started two weeks ago when the team — spearheaded by executive producer Michael Gasparro — made unannounced visits to both Zimmerman’s parents and uncle’s home where Zimmerman says they “harassed” his family. He didn’t confirm whether they went on camera to participate in the project.
“Anyone who fucks with my parents will be fed to an alligator,” he reportedly said.

Zimmerman, who shot the 17-year-old Martin five years ago, also said, “I know how to handle people who fuck with me, I have since February 2012,” alluding to the date of Martin’s death (February 26, 2012).
Zimmerman is reportedly bothered that producers allegedly paid his ex-wife to appear in the documentary but refuse to pay any of his other family members.
Considering the recent Harvey Weinstein sex scandal and Bloom’s contentious working relationship with the Hollywood titan (she previously represented him and admitted that decision was a “colossal mistake” in an interview with Vanity Fair), it’s unclear if the project will ever see the light of day.

Here's How Tekashi 6ix9ine Has Responded To His Sex Crime Allegations

When rainbow-haired rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine started to pick up traction with his viral hit “Gummo,” details of the 21-year-old’s personal life also started to emerge. Most troubling was his sexual misconduct case involving a minor.
After fellow rappers Trippie Red and Zillakami accused him of being a “pedophile” on social media, it was discovered 6ix9ine actually entered a guilty plea to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office for “the use of a child in a sexual performance” in 2015, according to Jezebel. The Brooklyn native has responded to the recent wave of publicity dissecting the case with zero remorse.
“I WANT ALL THE MEDIA OUTLETS TO KNOW U CAN WRITE ANYTHING U WANT ABOUT ME. THROW DIRT ON MY NAME,” he wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post. “HATE ON ME. AS YOU CAN SEE IT ONLY MADE ME WHAT U DIDNT WANT ME TO BE AND THATS AT THE TOP. IT GETS UNDER YALL SKIN HOW GOOD IM DOING AND IT HURTS YOU THAT I KNOW xoxo xoxo xoxo.”
6ix9nine, who evidently has an affinity for blow-up dolls (male or female), was busted once the mother of the victim discovered three disturbing videos involving her child, then 13, online. In an interview with DJ Akademiks, he attempted to downplay the incident and claimed it happened “two to three years ago.” The complaint was officially filed with police on February 23, 2015.

The New York State Unified Court System’s online database says he was arrested March 5, 2015. The graphic details of the crime are described in the Jezebel article and involve multiple men. In the interview with the Everyday Struggle co-host, 6ix9ine is adamant “there’s no rape.”
Although 6ix9ine is currently free, which he has repeatedly pointed out, his sentence was adjourned for two years until October 20, 2017 and has since been adjourned further. As of now, the sentencing is reportedly scheduled for January 30, 2018.
Much like polarizing rapper XXXTENTACION, who is currently sitting in a Florida jail for multiple felonies stemming from a 2016 domestic violence case, 6ix9ine’s burgeoning rap career is already shrouded in controversy. But curiously, that only seems to elevate their profile. X’s debut album, 17, peaked at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart and 6ix9ine’s “Gummo” video has over 55 million views.

All The Way Up: Azealia Banks & Remy Ma Trade Social Media Insults

Azealia Banks and Remy Ma, two ladies who are no strangers to beef, found themselves going at it on social media over the weekend. After hearing some comments made by Remy during an interview on Hot 97’s Ebro In The Morning, Banks fired off some insults at the “SHETHER” MC.
“When I came home it was nothing,” Remy said during the interview. “It was tumbleweeds blowing through as far as female artists is concerned.

Banks responded in a since-deleted Instagram post by chiding Remy for using Nicki Minaj to stay relevant.
“Remy – the hottest things you’ve released since you’ve been out of jail are Nicki love letters and she’s STILL miles more important than you,” she wrote.
Remy saw this before it was taken down and aired out Banks by sharing some of their private messages.
“@azealiabanks Ayo, I know you ain’t talkin about me, dog,” she wrote. “You? What?! You been on my dick; you love my style #RemyMa #RemyMafia #ShesBack #Part1 Ps: I know you don’t want no smoke so I’ll play ya lil social media games until I allow my team to convince me to stop… MIND U LADIES & GENTLEMAN THESE TEXTS START FROM LAST YEAR…PEEP HOW I DONT EVEN RESPOND…smh…I’m responding now though.”

Banks then tried to clarify her comments and be more diplomatic about the situation.
“Ahem…. let me rephrase … Remy … you absolutely must step your shit up,” she said. “The music you have been releasing is some serious old head rap shit and it’s 100% unfair that you stand up on your reality tv booster seat and make any statements about female rap as if you have done a single thing to move the cultural needle since you’ve been home. It is not 2000… battle rapping is dead. Gun clapping is not chic .. you are struggling to keep up with the rest of female rap and it’s time you seriously leave the nicki minaj subs and disses at home. No more auntie antics in 2018… for arts’ sake……”

Remy wasn’t having it, slamming Banks for deleting the original Instagram post and sharing more of their once-private correspondence.
“@azealiabanks DONT FUCKIN CHANGE YA CAPTION NOW!” she retorted. “I got a year and a half more of u stalking me, hating on ya new fave, & getting ignored… I’m officially airing out ALL y’all chicks that was on MY line heavy when I touched down & now all of a sudden got amnesia?Operation NEVER taking my foot off they neck has commenced…(& normally I’m against exposing private sh*t when things go left but y’all broads crazyyy).”

Remy has since deleted both of her Instagram posts.

Rick Ross' Longtime Manager Black Bo Passes Away

Black Bo, the longtime manager of Rick Ross, has passed away at the age of 56. Rozay broke the news at Art Basel 2017 during a Maxim party on Friday night (December 8).
“This is an extremely sexy party,” he told the crowd in Miami, according to Drill King. “I know my dog Black would’ve loved to be here. Come on let me rap for my dog Black one time.”
No details about Black’s death have emerged and Ross hasn’t mentioned it on social media at this time. Black had been extremely active on social media until November 17. Other artists, including French Montana and Wale, have confirmed the news of passing with condolence messages on Instagram.

It's All About The Benjamins: Diddy Is 2017's Highest-Paid Musician

It’s good to be Diddy. Despite not having released a solo project since 2015’s MMM, the Hip Hop mogul was named 2017’s highest-paid musician by Forbes.
Puff Daddy pulled in a whopping $130 million pretax this year, a career-best mark for the powerful executive. To calculate this, Forbes evaluated pretax income from June 1, 2016 through June 1, 2017. The publication used data from Nielsen SoundScan, the RIAA, Pollstar and industry insiders.
Forbes attributes Diddy’s massive earnings to a variety of income sources, including the Bad Boy’s reunion tour and his Ciroc vodka deal.
Diddy also got a major influx of capital by selling a third of his Sean John clothing line. That sale alone earned him an estimated $70 million.

Chris Brown Earned 40 RIAA Plaques This Year

R&B’s resident bad boy Chris Brown is closing out the year with another accomplishment to add to his list. On Wednesday (December 6), Brown took to Twitter to reveal he’s received over three dozen plaques from the RIAA this year.
“40 PLAQUES THIS YEAR!,” he wrote. “Today the RIAA released 23 more certified platinum and gold plaques that included 12 x multi platinum singles. 74.5 million single and album sales just in the US.”
A number of Brown’s songs certified platinum (or gold) date back to 2005, and include “Gimme That,” “Run It!” and “Yo (Excuse Me Miss).”
Brown’s latest feat follows another gold certification from the RIAA for his new 45-track album Heartbreak On A Full Moon, which was released on Halloween.
